Discount pre-season passes for the 2016-17 Elko SnoBowl season will be available until December 3, 2016 at the Elko Parks & Recreation Office, 723 Railroad Street and on the 3rd at the SnoBowl’s annual Spaghetti Feed.  This Event will be held at the Elko Convention (Conference) Center.  A no-host bar will be available at 5:30 p.m. with dinner following at 6:00 p.m.  We will also feature a raffle & Auction for some great prizes.  This is the last day you can purchase a season pass at the discounted rate.

SUBJECT:         Registration for Men’s & Co-ed Adult Basketball Now Open

WHEN:            Registration Ends January 4, 2017
The City of Elko Recreation Department is now accepting team registration for the 2017 Men’s and Co-ed Adult Basketball Season. Deadline to register is January 4th 2017, space is limited.  You may register online at www.elkocity.com or in person at the Recreation Office located at 723 Railroad St.  Cost is: Men’s $60.00 player’s fees, $500.00 sponsor fee; Co-ed $50.00 player’s fees, $350.00 sponsor fees. Play will begin January 19, 2017. The City of Elko Recreation Department is also seeking interested referees for the 2017 season. The City of Elko Parks and Recreation Department is seeking basketball officials for the 2017 Adult Basketball League. Season will begin January and continue through April. Officials will be provided with NIAA rules; techniques and one on one time with highly trained officials. He currently works at Western Title as a business development specialist. In his spare time, he loves to read, write, and hang out with his wife, Melissa. Spring Creek Christian Academy will host their third annual Harvest Festival at the Academy grounds across the street from the mini Khoury's.

Kuhn.  He’ll talk about the Southern Pacific's historic Overland Route, the Western Pacific's scenic Feather River Route, and riding Amtrak's Scenic Triangle of trips across the West during the Western Heritage Festival this Friday & Saturday at 10am,1, & 4pm at the Northeastern Nevada Museum.
